Letter regarding Pelly's travel schedule and his meetings with local Chiefs and Thakoors [Thakurs], his hopes of being in Calcutta 25 or 26 October and Lord Northbrooks invitation to Government House.
The letter goes on to recount a pleasant visit to Major Walter, his ongoing troubles with Saunders, Berkeleys return to England on medical leave, official letters on boundary dispute matters and his resolving of Roberts unpleasant matter with the Bhurtpore [Bharatpur] Chief.
