The sequence is written in pencil, enclosed within a circle, and appears in the top right hand corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. page of each folio. ff. 97, 98, 109 and 110 need to be folded out to be read. A second foliation sequence also appears, also written in pencil, but not enclosed in a circle, in the same area of each folio. This starts at 5 on f.2 and continues (with frequent gaps in the sequence) to 175 on f.102. The last eight folios (ff.103-110) are not included in this second sequence.
