Content: Letter regarding a visit from Andrew Richard Scoble and Frank Henry Souter in which they concurred that a corner of the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. Compound should be used for a 'witness tent' and asking whether Sir Lewis would prefer a brick wall to be erected on the site or whether a tent would be sufficient.
