Letter regarding accusations of bribery and fraud which have been made against Wassantram Bhao, formerly Head Treasurer to His Highness the Gaekwar of Baroda and requesting he be arrested, formerly charged and brought to trial. The letter also states that there are other cases against him being investigated and that if appropriate they will also be turned over to him in the near future.
The letter concludes by requesting that Ranees Jamdar Khana be kept under surveillance until he had accounted for forty lacs One lakh is equal to one hundred thousand rupees [ lakhs One lakh is equal to one hundred thousand rupees ] he had removed from the palace and attempted to take to Bombay.
