Letter regarding lists of crockery, furniture and other items which Pelly had been using at the Rajputana Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. and outlining which items Lyall intends to purchase from Pelly.

Enclosed with the letter are two copies of the lists, the first list (folios 15-26) has been divided up into sections some lettered A-H, and others just given headings, the second list (folios 27-32) only has the lettered headings:

  • A: Crockery and Glass on tour
  • B: List of Silver
  • Wines etc. in Godowa (Aboo) [Abu]
  • Miscellaneous Wines in Godowa at Aboo [Abu]
  • Furniture in Camp
  • C: Wines in closed boxes in Camp
  • D: Stores
  • E: Stores in Camel Trunks in Camp
  • F: Wines in Camel Trunks
  • G: Cooking utensils in Camp
  • H: List of Furniture (Aboo) [Abu]

The second list has some annotations in pencil, primarily showing individual prices for items which there are more than one of on the list but also giving overall sums for the contents of each lettered section on the verso The back of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'v'. of folio thirty-two.
