Letter, dated 30 June 1873 regarding the Mayo College File, which had taken some time to put together for Saunders and discussing what he had and hadn't included in it. The file and précis which are referred to in the letter are no longer enclosed.
A postscript to the letter, dated 1 July 1873, informs Saunders that he had worked until 10pm the night before but had been unable to complete the précis and was sending it as it was. The postscript also informs Saunders that Colonel Lewis Pelly may wish to take it to Aboo [Ābu] too.
