is safeguarded in the separate agreement or
exchange of letters between the Company and
His Majesty^ Government referred to in
paragraph 3 of'the covering letter it will oe
unnecessary to make special provision in this

The volume contains copies of correspondence between the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. at Bahrain and the Secretary of State for India in London about oil concession in Qatar and the negotiations between the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) and the Sheikh of Qatar.
