Letter from Stephen Babingten [Babington], Secretary to the Government at Bombay Castle, to Lieutenant William Bruce, Resident at Bushire, requesting to furnish information on the dispute that happened in Basra between the Imam of Muscat and the Meessaleem [sic] and transmitting the copy of a dispatch sent from Gideon Colquhoun, Assistant in Charge of the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. at Bussora [Basra], to Francis Warden, Chief Secretary to the Government at Bombay, on 29 December 1813, giving his account on the subject.
