The letter concerns a dispute between Stephen Watson Henshaw, Marine Agent in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , and Mohumed bin Naser [Muḥammad bin Nāṣir]; the latter claims that rent is owed to him by the Marine Agent for a property he occupies. The letter presents Mr Henshaw's view of the dispute and includes a request from him asking the Resident to represent his point of view to the Governor of Bombay.
