Content

The letter is informing the Resident that due to the risks of travel during winter, the departure from Tabreez [Tabriz] of a British detachment, which is being returned to India, has been delayed until 10 February 1811. It also mentions that the Persian Government has requested to retain the services of two officers from the detachment; a revised list of persons requiring passage to India to be arranged by the Resident is therefore enclosed.
