The letter is informing the Resident that Lieutenant Willock is returning to Bushire in charge of an escort of cavalry, which had been attached to the British Mission to the Court of Persia. It is noted that Richard Sharpe, Assistant Surgeon, will also be returning with the force. William Bruce is to arrange for the sale of the horses and passage for the troops to India.
