Kemball refers to the two slaves manumitted by Lieutenant James Tronson, Commander of the Tigris , and recommends that they be retained on board that vessel until they can be removed to the Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. in Bombay. In addition, Kemball states that he is happy to take down the depositions of any parties connected with the two slaves seized by Lieutenant Robert Anstice Stradling off Ras al Hudd [Ḥadd, Ra's al].
