This letter concerns the accounts of the late Captain John Frederick Soilleux. Ephraim Gerrish Stannus, Resident in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , Bushire, acknowledges the receipt of Captain James Thomas Molesworth's letter, dated 21 February 1824, and informs Lieutenant Colonel Edward Baker that the letter has been transferred to Captain Evan Jervis, who is in possession of the late Captain Soilleux's account and will be able to furnish the information required.
