Letter regarding Lady Frere's journey home to England and boxes of coins and fragments of pottery which Pelly had sent to the Freres.

The letter also discusses Captain Jones's return; Mansfield's work on the Mekran Telegraph Line and his request to visit Bushire which Frere believes would be useful for him to discuss steamer and telegraph communications; Mr Mackinnon's desire to run more frequent steamers to the Gulf; a steam 'Gatch' that will be under Pelly's command; and general news from Frere.
