(bj The frontier between Trans-Jordan and the Hejaz
is a de facto frontier only* The present position is
determined "by Letters (1) and If?) attached to the Treaty
of Jedda of May 20, 192^. Apart from the possibility
that, the question of the status of the Aqaba and Ma'an
districts may be reopened at some time by the Baudi
Government , the frontier is affected by doubts analogous
to those at owing to the inaccuracy of the maps used.
