The extract is from Paragraph 3 of letter No. 94 regarding the arrangements mediated by Colonel Pelly in which Sayed Soulem [Salim II bin Thuwaini, Imam of Muscat] is to pay Torkee [Turki bin Said, later Imam of Muscat] a pension provided Torkee agrees to reside in British India, and crediting Colonel Pelly for his conduct in 'difficult circumstances'.
