Letter regarding Pundit Munphool's resignation from the ministership of Bikaneer [Bīkāner], and his request to be considered for the position at Kotah which the Government is considering Fyz Alli Khan [Faiz Ali Khan] for.
The letter goes on to discuss recent interference at Puttiala [Patiala]; the ladies in the administration at Dholepore [Dholpur]; Colonel Alexander Ross Elliot Hutchinson's request to be sent on furlough; the possibility of sending Colonel William Carnell to the Oodeypore [Udaipur] Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. for a few months; and regarding confirmation of Pelly's appointment in Rajpootana [Rājasthān].
