Letter, dated 7 July 1873 enclosing a note from Colonel William Earle regarding Major Charles George Gunning's appointment and advising Pelly to have instructions waiting at Kheewarra [Khairwāra] for the officer that eventually goes there.

Enclosed note from William Earle to Charles Umpherston Aitchison, 7 July 1873, regarding Earle having written to Sir Frederick Haines about the state of the Meywar [Mewār] Corps asking him to hand his letter to Major Gunning as well as asking that Aitchison inform Pelly to have instructions ready at Kheewarra.

A note from Pelly at the end of the letter, dated 22 July 1873, records that a copy of the correspondence has been sent to Colonel Hutchinson,
