In this letter John Griffith and Samuel Manesty thank Edward Galley for his further enquiry regarding the packets and effects that were lost in the wreck of the express boat near Bunderick [Bandar-e Rīg]. Galley is informed that the Greyhound , which carries important packets for India, has been dispatched to Bushire. Galley is instructed to detain the vessel for as short a time as possible.
