In a letter dated S8th 7ul Ha.13 TP8Q the Chief of Basel Khymah
acknowledges that -Sirree and Nabyan belong to the inhabitants
"of the Joasim living on the coast of Fras".
I can find nothing regarding the sovereignty of this island in
une jrersian Gulf Selections or other works of reference.
