Hennell writes that he approves of Lt Manner's suggestion of showing the two vessels under his command at Kateef [al-Qatif] (f 37), but points out that 'amicable relations subsist' between Ameer Fysul [Amir Faisal], the Wahhabi ruler of the Nedjd [Najd] region, and the British Government, so no actions should be taken that might be deemed hostile.
