The letter discusses legitimate reasons to go to war, and complaints sent from Sooltan bin Sugger [Sulṭān bin Saqr] to Bombay with the results of Wilson's investigation into them. The complaints cover the subjects of Tanoon's [Ṭaḥnūn bin Shakhbūṭ Āl Nahyān] destruction of Dherah, and Wilson offers to be of service in mediating between the two parties. It also discusses the repercussions if piracy were to occur.
