The letter discusses the matter of the crew of an English boat proceeding to recover a deserter and being beaten as a result, and other abuse of British seamen and persons within the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. , and asks for the Wazier [ Wazir Minister. ] of Fars to intimate displeasure of this to the current Shaikh of Bushire and Shaikh Nassir.
