Rowing boats called " Hori" are available at all places
m the rough proportion of 2 or 3 to a bedan.
6. Roads. —The rugged nature of the Ha jar of Oman
makes communication difficult between the coastal towns
and the interior. Physical features and the necessity for
water confine such tracks as exist to a few well defined
routes. These in general follow boulder strewn wadis.
