Re visit of the Ruler of Qatar to the Oil Fields.
At 10.00 hours on Wednesday the 17th October 1934,
Shaikh -Abdullah bin Qasim ath-Thani ,c.I.E. Ruler of Qatar
isited v:i1 Fle:Lo s. He was accompanied by H.E. Shaijjh
Hamad and Shaikh .Abdullah bin •i S a al Khalifah. He was
taken round and shown the wells near the Jabal to v .hich
he shov /ed muc , interest. The manager offered to take him
to the Sitrah Island but the Shaikh declined to go as he
had no time. During his stay in Bahrain he had no private
interview or talk with any of the Company's men.
