Touching the Adventures and Perils which we the Assurers are contented to bear and do take upon us in this Voyage; they are, of the
Seas, Jettisons, Barratry of the Master and Mariners, and of all other Perils, Losses, and Misfortunes, that have or shall come to the Burt
Detriment, or Damage of the said Goods and Merchandises and Ship or Vessel, &o., or any part thereof. And in case of any Loss or
Mislortune, it shall be lawful to the Assureds, their Factors, Servants, and Assigns, to sue, labour, and travel for, in, and about the Defence
Safeguard, and Recovery of the said Goods, Merchandises, and Ship or Vessel, &c., or any Part thereof, without prejudice to this Assurance ■
To the Charges whereof the said Assurers will contribute according to the Rate and Quantity of the Sum herein assured. And it is agreed
- that this Writing or Policy of Assurance shall be of as much Force and Effect as the surest Writing or Policy of Assurance heretofore made

Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. and a public refusal to receive letters from the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. Agent; his alleged participation with the Bin Luta family in intrigues which led to a warning from the Shaikh of Umm al-Qawain that the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. Agent's life was in danger. Correspondence also discusses British ships destroying two towers of the Sheikh of Ajman as punishment.
