Draft letter explaining the need for mortars and guns as the Chief of Futtergurh [Fatehgarh] had not acceded to terms set 6 months previous and that the existing weaponry there would not be effective against him.

The letter goes on to discuss requirements should they intend to deal with Dacoity and the ongoing issue of highway robbery and the potential need to attack a feudal baron in his fort in order to set an example.
