The letter discusses the forwarding of various correspondence, the remuneration of Jafer Ali Khan's [Ja‘afar ‘Alī Khān] losses, the purpose of Abdulla Khan's trip to Bushire, the delivery of letters to Persian merchants at Bushire (previously detained and forwarded to Bussora [Basra]), skirmishes that have taken place between local tribes, difficulties Jafer Ali Khan is experiencing as a result of Shaikh ‘Abd al-Rasūl Khān, the Shaik of Bushire raising suspicions against him, the seizure of Shaik Jabara by his father in Khangoon [Kangān] (believed to be the result of pressure from the Sheraz Government) and the removal of Mohumed Nebbe Khan's [Muḥammad Nabī Khān] family to Sheraz [Shiraz].
