Letter states that the Governor in Council has ruled to discontinue the practice of paying the allowances of servants at Bushire to their agents at the Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. , and has also directed that no more advances are to be made on account of the Presidencies of Fort William or Fort St George without the sanction of the Bombay Government.
