Letter encloses a copy of a letter, dated 5 December 1811, from J[ohn] Kaye, Accountant General, Bombay, to Francis Warden, Chief Secretary to the Government, Bombay, regarding the prospect of commissioning a supply of raw Ghilan [Gilan] silk and Carmenia wool from Bushire, to form part of the following year's homeward investment. The enclosed letter includes an extract of a letter, dated 6 June 1810, from the Court of Directors The London-based directors of the East India Company who dealt with the daily conduct of the Company's affairs. .
