This aerial view of the Beni Bu Ali Fort looking northeast was taken on 4 February 1932 by the R.A.F. during a reconnaissance mission in advance of a planned bombardment of Aiqa and Jaalan (Ja‘alān) described in following folios, f. 129-130.

The fort is at centre while a smaller enclosure and palms are in the foreground at centre. .

The inscriptions in the upper right corner probably refer to camera settings, as well as date and time of capture.
