Letter regarding Pelly's disdain at the British Government's apparent policy of protecting peoples of other religions and races at the expense of their own subjects, who in the Guld are being left unprotected and molested so that African races on the East coast can instead be protected.
The letter also requests that when affairs in the Gulf are settled he be considered for a role within the Indian fronter as he cannot continue to carry out such orders and policy.
