Letter regarding Atkinson's recovering health at Bassidore and Pelly's intention to remain at Bushire until the mail steamer arrives before heading to Shiraz.
The letter also discusses the possibility of the British occupying Augam [Henjam]; the question of whether or not a Sepoy Term used in English to refer to an Indian infantryman. Carries some derogatory connotations as sometimes used as a means of othering and emphasising race, colour, origins, or rank. guard is required; the situation in Muscat and the British response to Syed Torkee [Turki bin Said]'s actions.
