The letter also informs Way of the Bombay Government's request that Pelly visit the Persian Governor-General at Shiraz; their approval of Pelly's recommendation to blockade the port at Aboothabee [Abu Dhabi] and asking Way to inform the native agent Non-British agents affiliated with the British Government. at Shargah [Sharjah] to remain there and attempt to intercept slavers vessels.
