The letter is informing the Resident that his instructions to move the ship will be heeded to (precisely where the ship is to be moved to and why is not specified), but due to 'bad accommodation' his stock is low so the Resident should obtain what stock he can.

The letter is not dated, however it was received at the Bushire Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. sometime between 3 and 11 August 1815.
