'Ihe Syndicate's representatives said that they did
not anticipate any difficulty with their American
associates on this aoore, and they promised to mention
the matter to the latter at an early date. It was
agreed that in any letter sent to the Syndicate
setting out the conditions governing the ssignment
of the Concession, a clcuse to tbe above effect should
be inserted. It was agreed that a further Meeting
between representatives of the Colonial Office and of
the yndicate should be held on Thursday, the 8th of
August at 3.50 p«nu
