Letter, written on thick black edged mourning paper, in response to the letter of 8 October (folios 28-29v) confirming that his brother (George William Burne) would call on Pelly's cousin (Richard William Pelly).

The letter goes on to discuss a matter regarding Pelly's luggage and refers to an enclosed letter (no longer included) from the Customs House on the matter.
