Letter enclosing a copy of Pelly's resume of public service along with printed letters which cover his career up to 1872 (none are any longer enclosed).

The letter also details that the operations in Behrein [Bahrain] for which Pelly was recommended for the KCSI (Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of India) took place at the end of 1869.
