Letter regarding papers and representations that he wished to make to Pelly in regard to a compensation claim, following injuries sustained during a riot in Baroda.
The letter details the events of the riot which took place on 28 April 1875 and the circumstances by which he had been injured, as well as his subsequent decision to resign his position three months later on medical grounds. The letter goes on to discuss matters of his salary following his resignation which he feels were not settled satisfactorily at the time and to request Pelly's assistance in resolving the matter.
