Letter informing Aitchison that his lack of letter writing has been due to his desire to be helpful whilst in England through answering questions on the Indian frontiers and the Baroda affair.

The letter also discusses his willingness to return to India from the autumn onwards and his need of a telegram or letter to this effect to permit him to return.
