Letter enclosing letter No.958 from William Muir, Secretary to the Government of India regarding the sale of the Bughla.

The enclosed letter requests further details on the subordination of Bahrain to the Wahabees [Wahhabis] and seeks assurances that Pelly did not officially intend to confiscate the vessel without the permission of the Government of India as such actions could cause complications to the relations of the Government with other powers bordering the Gulf.
