The letter contains a memorandum showing the overall account and deducting the sum of 500 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. which had already been paid to Pelly from the Aden Treasury, before requesting that the outstanding balance of 597-2 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. be paid into his account with the New Bank of Bombay.
