The letter reports the attack on Bahreen [Bahrain] by the Hooley [Hula] Arabs and Shaik Ise's [Sheikh ‘Isa] return there from Bushire with some of Sheikh Sadoon's [Sa‘dūn] boats. It is discussed how these developments might affect the Company's plan to withdraw from Bushire and seize Sa‘dūn's fleet. Skipp's return from Shiraz is reported.
