The letter discusses the progress of negotiations with Carim Caun [Karim Khan]. It outlines the plan to withdraw from Bushire and destroy the town if the Khan doesn't agree to the Company's terms. There are the instructions to send the possessions of a French Muslim murdered in Bushire to Basra to be returned to the French there.

There is an enclosed copy of a translation of a letter from Henry Moore to Karim Khan, undated. In it he demands the restitution of the Company property stolen by the Chaub [Banu Ka‘b], threatening to withdraw from Bushire and destroy all Persian shipping and coastal towns.
