The file covers the oil concession granted by Shaikh Shakhbut to the Superior Oil Company (California) for the subsoil beneath the sea beyond the three mile territorial limit. It includes the political agreement signed by the British Government and the Superior Oil Company on the 15 April 1950, wherein the obligations of the former are stipulated.
