With reference to recent rumoura of the defeat of Ibh Saud’s
forces In NEJUAJT, which, according to your reports, have been
prevalent in Bahrain and Kuwait. I think that it might be useful
if you both, in addition to your Monthly Diaries, exchanged between
yourselves by Air Mail, a very brief weekly summary of Saudi affairs
especially in connection with Ibn Baud himself. Copies of these
(which should be serially numbered to facilitate reference) could be
sent to me, bu'f need not be sent to Minister,t T edda, who gets your
Monthly Summaries. If there is no news, a Nil Summary can be sent
S. Items of special importance can be telegraphed to me by the
Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. concerned, who can repeat to his opposite humher
