Content: The file consists of covering letters from the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. , Bahrain to the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain (Charles Dalrymple Belgrave) for sums of money (cheques and cash) representing the Government of Bahrain's share of net receipts on account of Joint Court fees collected during the months April-December 1950 inclusive. The covering letters give the amount forwarded.
Extent and format: 1 file (13 folios)
Arrangement: The correspondence is filed in chronological order from the front to the back of the file, and terminates in a set of notes between folios 12-14. Circled serial numbers in crayon and ink (red for incoming, blue for outgoing correspondence) refer to entries in the notes.
Physical characteristics: Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1 and terminates at the inside back cover with 15; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. side of each folio. A previous foliation sequence, which is also circled, has been superseded and therefore crossed out.
