A hand-drawn sketch map of the Trucial Coast A name used by Britain from the nineteenth century to 1971 to refer to the present-day United Arab Emirates. that shows the boundary between Dubai and Abu Dhabi as claimed by Dubai in 1949. Features such as ridges, palms, wells and sandhills along the border are marked on the map.
