honour to forward, for the information of the Government of India, a copy of
the correspondence, mentioned in the attached list, which has passed in regard
to the mission of the Misbah-i-Divan. &

Chahbar on his way to Baluchistan on a mission in connection with the appoint
ment of

Muhtasham as Governor of Kerman sends you his compliments
and begs that you will inform Ibrahim Gelladary that it is very necessary that
his horsemen and tufangchis should leave for Chahbar by this mail. He expects
funds from

Muhtasham as soon as he arrives at Kerman (in a few day§
time) and in the meantime if Gelladary will not advance the money necessary
for their passages he will be very grateful if you would arrange with British
India agents to collect money due at Chahbar. He has copy of a letter
from His Majesty’s Minister at Tehran to the Resident, Bushire commanding
him to the latter’s good offices as also those of other Consular Officers in
the
Persian Gulf
