Telegram No. 6153 dated July 11 th. Begins:
Please telegraph detailed programmes of requirements
from United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia during first half
of 1946 in usual form before July 31st.
Requirements in respect of steel items falling under
part of import trade control schedule which are to be procured by
indents on DG,ISD BLACKPOOL are to be forwarded separately for
communication to steel import controller Calcutta* Ends.
2. Please telegraph separately to Government of India
copy to Bushire your requiremtnts from each of three areas mentioned
under heads (a) ESSENTIAL (b) NECEbSARY (c) DESIRABLE.
